We are flattered that Rocky Hill Elementary trusted us to provide a safe, fun treat to their teachers & staff.
We started talking with Rocky Hill's Vice Principal, Miss Kotsianas, when we served her at a Client Appreciation event hosted by Pure Luxe Salon, Spa & Medspa. After our initial meeting we traded some emails to discuss safety procedures during the pandemic, pricing, & the best days/times for a Caffeinated Catering service at Rocky Hill Elementary. Within 5 emails, we had a complete plan for how to serve the teachers & staff, & an idea for adding a very special drink to our menu in tribute to the school.
For a the special drink, Miss Kotsianas told us she wanted it to have fall flavors & a topping that could look like snow or be an homage to a rocky hill. We spent a couple of days in our kitchen space testing coffee to milk ratios & mixing a variety of flavored syrups together until we came up with the Rocky Hill Frappe & Latte. The Rocky Hill Frappe & Latte combines flavors of butterscotch, a special mix of chocolate & hazelnut, with some marshmallows on top. We REALLY enjoy coming up with unique drinks, & anytime we work on a Caffeinated Catering event we offer our host to have us come up with a special drink just for their event.
On the day of the Caffeinated Catering event at Rocky Hill Elementary, we arrived at the school an hour early to begin setting up & testing our machines. Once we were ready to serve, teachers & staff had signed up for time periods that they wanted to come order a drink. Having the teachers & staff come to the Cart in shifts ensured that there was never a gathering of people in front of the Cart. Additionally, while waiting in line for drinks, teachers & staff stayed 6 feet apart, & the protective shield on the front of our Cart helped facilitate social distancing.
We are so appreciative of the Rocky Hill "Ramily" for being such kinds hosts & letting us be part of their day.
